Time To Regroup And Re-view

Early next morning both Rick and I managed to find better moorings, which were actually only about a quarter of a mile further on from where we stopped the night before. But that's typical of course

The new mooring was near Battlebridge Basin and opposite The Guardian offices

In the afternoon Tara and I walked back up the canal to the locks to explore and we found St Pancras Lock looking much more appealing in the daylight. We also met the organiser of the Kentish town revelry of the previous day as she chilled out on her boat.

And Camden Market

Funky dining

Kentish Town Lock minus a lot of people.

Canalside views near Kings Cross.

The silver design on the buildings was heavy gauge tinfoil which a team were in the process of patching as we walked by. There is a viewing platform built so people can appreciate the panorama

At the top of the steps is a fashion design college and these fountains

A closer look at the tinfoil

And a video of the fountains.

Which Tara thoroughly enjoyed

(sorry about the duplicate photo but if I attempt to delete it I may lose half of this post - which has happened a couple of times before.
I'm going to publish before this happens again!

  1. Hi Anne. Glad you are still having fun.
Bob at the marina is telling everybody your plans.
It is now common knowledge your decisions.
    Best of luck
